Beyonce forced to postpone Malaysian gig

Beyonce was forced to postpone an upcoming concert in Malaysia today.

The star was set to perform in Kuala Lumpur on October 25th, but due to accusations and complaints by Islamic conservatives the show has officially been delayed until a later date.

The Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party demanded that the show be cancelled because it promotes “Western sexy performances.”

A statement given by promoters, however, reads that Beyonce’s decision was not made because of the criticism.

“The postponement is solely [the] decision of the artist and has nothing to do with other external reasons.”
