Beyonce vs. Abercrombie & Fitch

Beyonce may have won a fan in Taylor Swift, but has now lost one in Abercrombie & Fitch.

The popular clothing firm has filed a lawsuit against the R&B star after she signed a contract to launch a new perfume with fragrance company Coty.

Abercrombie & Fitch feels Beyonce’s new smell could infringe on their Fierce product and confuse customers, since she uses her Sasha Fierce alter ego as a business tool.

Coty feels differently and issued a statement saying “The terms Fierce and Sasha Fierce are not being used as names of a Beyonce fragrance. Details related to the fragrance, including the official name, will be revealed prior to the launch in early 2010.”

We’re not confused, are you?
