Big Shiny Tunes & Much Dance Are Back!

November 14th, 2007

Remember Big Shiny Tunes? And Much Dance?! Hells yeah!

I was just a young pup when Big Shiny Tunes 1 came out. So innocent. So not bitter. So not jaded. (*cough cough*). Well I was doing some research and saw that that album actually included No Doubt’s “Just a Girl.” That was SO long ago that Gwen really was just a girl (and not married). Even the first Much Dance album - that was back in 1997! That’s so long ago that P.Diddy was Puff Daddy (with his ode to Notorious B.I.G., “I’ll Be Missing You”). I have these albums somewhere - I should dig them out and have myself a little trip down memory lane. And then cry. At home. Alone.

Well get ready for the shameless plug o’ the day! On Tuesday, November 20th we are releasing the latest installments of our greatest album compilations ever. (Yup - I said “EVER”!) It’s a bold statement to be sure, but check out the tracklistings (which all link to their videos & ringtones). It’s that big of a deal that some superfan actually updated the Big Shiny Tunes & Much Dance wikipedia pages to include the latest album info - and that info was JUST released!

Will these new albums stand the test of time?

First off - Big Shiny Tunes 12

If you want to mosh, jump, punch the floor or just plain ol’ rock out, then Big Shiny Tunes it is. This year brought us hits from Marianas Trench, Rise Against, The Used and Interpol. Check-check check it out!
