Blood Orange “Neptune (Lemonade cover)” (Stream)

Lemonade’s “Neptune” is one of my favourite jams of 2012. Turns out Dev Hynes, aka Blood Orange, feels the same, and chose to record his own version of it. According to Lemonade’s label, True Panther, “Way back when the guys from Lemonade sent our friend Dev/Blood Orange an early demo of Neptune. A few months later, to our universal surprise, Dev came back with a cover version. His version builds on the nightride feeling, neon lights diffused under an arpeggiated glow. Thank you dev!!”
