Boi-1da Reveals Plans With Keri Hilson, Soulja Boy

Toronto hip hop producer Boi-1da revealed details about his projects with Keri Hilson and Soulja Boy this weekend at Drake’s OVO Festival in Toronto. He told MuchMusic that he worked on Soulja Boy’s next single “Speakers Going Hammer” as well as Keri Hilson’s next single. “I’m not even gonna say nothing about it. It’s just madness. It’s going to come out soon. You’ll hear about it,” he said.

Rapper Bun B was also at the show last Sunday and sang Boi-1da’s praises. “It’s just an incredible experience working with somebody that’s so young but so focused and really knows how to construct a song,” he said.

Boi-1da worked on two songs on Bun B’s album Trill O.G., “It’s Been A Pleasure” and “Put It Down,” both featuring the man of the evening, Drake. “Both crazy songs, crazy lyrical. Bun B is Bun B. He just totally demolished both of the songs and as well as Drake and came through on the songs,” he said. “The beats are incredible.
