The closing soft rock jam on Bon Iver’s Grammy-winning self-titled album gets a video that is as sentimental and well, cheesy, as the song itself. About the video for “Beth/Rest,” Justin Vernon says, “It’s kind of about two people who are truly meant for each other and what happens to their essence. How they connect is some other thing that we don’t know how to really talk about.” Which explains all the glowing and soft focus.
