Bradford Cox “Seems So Long Ago, Nancy” (Video)

As we mentioned the other day, Columbia has assembled an impressive group of musicians to cover their favourite Leonard song as part of “Old Ideas with New Friends.” Bradford Cox of Atlas Sound and Deerhunter has contributed his favourite, 1969′s “Seems So Long Ago, Nancy.”

About the song, Cox says, “Ever since the first time I heard it, I thought it was the most haunting song I’d ever heard. I think it’s something all of us can relate to and be moved by. And it’s an achievement that very few songwriters can hope for, to write a song like that.”
