Brandon Flowers Says Solo Songs Meant for Killers

If you are listening to Brandon Flower’s new solo project and feel like you may as well be listening to The Killers, you aren’t far off. Brandon Flowers told Elle magazine that the songs on his September release Flamingo were written for his band originally. “I wrote the songs for the band. I didn’t write anything for myself,” he said.

He also admitted that he was a bit uneasy heading out into the solo realm saying, “I’ve only ever known the Killers. So it was strange once it became apparent I was doing this alone.”
