Bret Michaels has commented about his Miley Cyrus collaboration “Nothin’ To Lose”, in the wake of controversy over the song.
The track, which features Cyrus singing harmonies, raised eyebrows with its suggestive lyrics: “We both know better than this/Still we can’t resist/Slowly get undressed…” The Hannah Montana singer then joins in on the chorus, singing: “Won’t you fall down on me/So close I can feel you breathe.”
The 46-year-old Rock of Love star and Poison frontman explained to Us Weekly, that he wrote the song years ago, and that Miley was excited to contribute harmonies.
According to Bret, “It was blown out of proportion. I just thought it was a beautiful song.”
