Bridgit Mendler explains the making of Hello My Name Is

Bridgit Mendler has been making the difficult transition from child star on the Disney Channel to bona fide singer-songwriter. It’s an interesting time in Mendler’s career, a sort of coming out party that has seen some of her counterparts present an oversexed image or one that still fits safely in the Disney mold. Mendler has managed to hit the middle ground, presenting a mature and impressive array of pop tracks.
