Britannia High: WTF?

WTF? Somehow the Brits always seem to get it right. I mean, we’re all fans of the amazing E4 series, Skins, and now they are bringing us Britannia High. It looks to be glossy, entertaining with the right amount of stupid to perhaps be amazing. (Britannia High also stars Mitch Hewer who was on Skins.)

From what I gather, it follows a few characters around a performing arts high school - and in true British form, these characters will also release singles (Fame meets S Club, right?).

Here is their first single, “Start of Something”:

It’s catchy enough, that’s for sure.

I’ve also watched a few behind-the-scenes clips on the show’s official site (the audition process and the like), and it’s making me giddy.

This won’t be airing anywhere in North America, but I will be getting my hands on it somehow, oh yes.

Much should start airing this, no?
