Britney AND Britney Songs To Appear On Glee

We have previously told you, our readers, that Glee will devote an episode to Britney Spears’ songs but now we can tell you for sure that the lady herself will guest star in the episode. Glee’s creator Ryan Murphy was on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show on Tuesday and confirmed that Brit will be in an episode next season. All of her songs will be performed in dream sequences by the cast who are under anesthesia in John Stamos’ dental office (oh how I have longed to type that sentence).

As much as Britney seems like an easy target for Glee’s quick wit, Murphy says the show will be all about praising Brit. “The Britney episode is so reverential about her, and so kind and it’s about her music,” Murphy said. ” And I want to do something that just sort of says, ‘You know what, thank you for what you’ve done. And we’re encouraging you to continue to be doing as fantastic as you are.’ We’re handling Britney with kid gloves.”

I hope this is as well as Britney’s turn on How I Met Your Mother (google it).
