E! News is reporting that Britney Spears and Demi Lovato have accepted Simon Cowell’s offer to replace the empty judging seats left by Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger’s exit for the upcoming season of the X Factor. Spears is reportedly receiving at $15 million paycheque for her role as a judge on the reality singing competition, while Demi Lovato’s payday has yet to be disclosed.
Both Spears and Lovato share a Disney past, with Spears gaining her start in the music industry as a member of the revamped Mickey Mouse Club and Lovato appearing on her own Disney show Sonny With A Chance for three seasons. Spears and Lovato will join seasoned judges and record producers LA Reid and Simon Cowell to make up the four-person judging panel.
