Britney Spears to drop new album in June

It’s a Britney update, y’all! Ms. Spears is heading back into the studio with producers from her Blackout and Circus albums, as well as French DJ David Guetta to work on a new record. The album is said to be hitting the airwaves this June.

I’m pretty stoked to hear what Guetta and Spears produce together. Homeboy has been on fire lately and this should be a solid duo. Hopefully Britney is actually ready to put out and promote and new album and tour. Considering that her handlers wouldn’t turn her mic on for the last tour because they were afraid of what she might say or (gasp!) that she may even sign, methinks that this might be another case of the Britney-machine pushing her to make more money.
