Britney Spears: VMA Promos

We all remember last year’s MTV VMAs. Not necessarily because of Chris Brown‘s killer performance with Rihanna cameo, or the fistfight between Kid Rock and Tommy Lee, or even the crazy party atmosphere that Vegas provided. No, the most memorable thing about last year’s VMAs was Britney Spears‘ train wreck performance that was meant to be her great, big, earth-shattering comeback.

Well thankfully Britney has seemingly pulled it together and being the good sport that she is has filmed the promo spots for this year’s VMAs with show host Russell Brand.

It’s just her, Russell and “the elephant in the room.” What is this symbolic elephant? No clue. Maybe that no one is mentioning last year’s sad Gimme More shimmy? Or that no one is asking if she’ll be performing again this year? Or maybe it means nothing at all. Or maybe it’s Britney’s pet (elephants are the new chihuahua after all).

Whatevs.

Just watch the promos, y’all.
