Miley, Charlie and more!
February 3rd, 2014
Bruno Mars and his band of hooligans took the stage in New Jersey last night to help wake up the crowd with ane action-packed halftime show during an action-less football game. Mars’ blend of old school showmanship and suave sex appeal was a breath of fresh air from an otherwise meh football game. Seriously, is it always this boring?
Why was Mars so, so, sososo great during last night’s Super Bowl? Let’s take a look. First of all, he opened the show playing the drums. Score one for talent.
Then he reminded us why everyone looked so freaking cool in the 1960s. Move together people, move together.
Synchronized with a white light? The coolest.
Run Away Baby into Give It Away Now is my childhood and adulthood colliding in the best possible way.
Mars’ ego isn’t too big to share the stage with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, because again, he’s the coolest. Let the appropriate amount of fangirling commence.
Let us also take a moment to appreciate the awesomeness of Anthony Keidis and his 51 years young abs. Dayuum.
Now finish it off with a little Just The Way You Are, Bruno. That’s baby making music right there.
