Bruno Mars premieres his latest video for Liquor Store Blues

Bruno Mars premiered the video for his collaboration with Damian Marley today on his site brunomars.com. It would appear that the budget for shooting Liquor Store Blues went directly to the liquor store. The video takes place in front of a psychedelic green screen. The end. Actually, something else may have happened in the video, but I dozed off and woke up from smacking my head on the keyboard.

Don’t get me wrong, I love me some Bruno Mars. Doo Wops and Hooligans is a great album and Liquor Store Blues is a strong track. Bruno’s video for Grenade and Just The Way You Are were creative, thoughtful and well-produced. So, what gives?

We can’t win ‘em all and I’m still excited to see Bruno’s next video. What did you think of Liquor Store Blues?
