California Wives – Marianne (stream)

California Wives vocalist, Jayson Kramer, says, “songwriting is always the most important thing for us as a band. You can talk about vibe and style but if you don’t have solid songs you’re wasting people’s time.”  They back up that claim with a catchy tune, “Marianne.” It has a simple, memorable riff and a sing-along chorus. Along with shimmering synths and bright guitars, California Wives harness the sound of summer. Their eleven song debut Record, Art History, is released on September 4th through Vagrant Records.
