But the Americans got their creative on: Lady Gaga walked the red carpet encased in an egg….and hatched onstage during her performance. She’s taking “Born This Way” to new heights peeps! Katy Perry made a sweet gesture with her song “Not Like the Movies” with real footage from her private wedding ceremony with hubby Russell Brand before launching in full out party-mode with a Valentine-themed rendition of “Teenage Dream“.

Plus Mumford & Sons performed with Bob Dylan, Rihanna wined-up on Drake, Dr. Dre and Eminem shared the stage and Mick Jagger (the one and only from The Rolling Stones!) debuted his first Grammy performance ever (and there have been 53 Grammy award shows so far).
