Catch up on sleep? I think I re-invented it. I am starting to think that I have a very co-dependant relationship with jersey sheets and duvets.

Ah, Spider-Man. I didn’t really like it. The webslinging wowed me but I thought the movie was disjointed. They should’ve gone kitsch or drama – not melded the two. I loved the scenes with Mr. Jameson, but the more serious (dramatic?) parts of the movie left me yawning.

I was at a book store on sunday and there was much Star Wars hoopla going on at the theatre next door. My friend and I joked, wouldn’t it be funny if cutie Hayden Christensen showed up? Moments later a white stretch pulled up and out hopped Hayden. It was mildly exciting. My friend thought I was being “jaded” because I wouldn’t accompany her out into the rain to get a closer ogle.

I don’t know if jaded is accurate…but maybe I am getting accustomed to glimpsing the famous and infamous from a safe (ie. not in the way of a camera or a VJ) distance away. I still get excited when celebrities I enjoy come in to work. I think most of us do (didn’t Matt Brett almost pee his pants for Dashboard Confessional?) – but my favourite non-work-related celebrity siting has to be gaping at Bono in a hotel lobby a few years ago.

Ryan, I know you’re always rubbing elbows and knees with famous folk…but what’s your favourite non-work-related celebrity siting?
