When you’re an undercover sleuth event photographer such as myself, the party don’t begin when the show ends, no. There’s uploading and editing and so on and so forth and ad nauseam to be finished, so long story short, the geek squad wasn’t ready to hit the MMVA after parties til after 1am.

So I says to myself I says, lemme find my BFFs and we’ll sang some karaoke! *yessss* We leave the ultrahot MMVA afterparty hosted by Hilary Duff and crash karaoke just in time to sing a few tunes. All that sangin’ works up an appetite, so we were like, “yo. Let’s have some 3am snacks at Fran’s.”

Fran’s is a 24 hour chain diner in T.O. where you can always count on getting breffast or burgers or whatever late night grease you desire. We barge in there looking sassy and who’s sitting at a booth near the front? Why, it’s Mister Jay Manuel himself, along with CNTM’s Nole Marin (also previously of ANTM). We settle into our own booth and not 15 minutes later, Andrew, the lead singer of Ten Second Epic, joins us for some poutine. And THEN, Jully Black enters the place for some eats! Apparently we found the secret post MMVA hiding spot?

Hee hee…we’re still sorting through thousands of pics and two more funneh ones just turned up.

point blank tilt rock records born and raised in the ghetto. we here at the mmvas nominated for best rap video we bout to take it from the block to the top. we having a great time - it’s a crazy expierence and we loving every f**king second of it. don’t bleep that! what’s poppin, it’s stump the don. RPD’s in the building. The new album is out September 11th. We representing regent park and every hood to hood all around the world. We gotta give a shout out to Regent Park, Rexdale, Jane n Finch and all the Scarborough Hoods. We love the the support of everybody and we love our fans to the death. And due remember the album is coming out September 11th, so go cop it. Shout out to the Jackal, Trouble, and Tilt Rock.

So, all of you at home think the MMVAs are over, but guess who just took the John Street stage again, at 11:05pm ET? Alexisonfire! They just performed two extra songs! They performed Mailbox Arson (or as Dan would call it, Letter Bomb ;)) and now they’re re-doing This Could Be Anywhere In The World. No one has budged from the John Street crowd. Incredible! What a treat for us all!

Hey it’s Chris of Hedley! We’re here at the big show and having a killer time. We actually won! We are, for the next year, winners of the Best Pop Video. A super thanks, and I wish it could be longer, but they’re pulling us away for another interview. Thanks for all the support and we can’t wait to come out and see you all on tour in the summer and right up to Christmas.

October is the release of Famous Last Words - hope you dig it - i know you will. Oh, and of course there are updates on our site and of course myspace.

Omg!!! Winning the MMVA Superstar contest has been the craziest, most exciting experience of my life!! This whole weekend has been so crazy, this whole showbiz thing is crazy, I don’t know how some of these people deal with all the stress! Well, I guess if you are a celebrity then it would be all rright since you just have to do your thing and look great doing it (which is sooo much fun [envy envy]). It’s been really great and I thank MuchMusic so much for this experience its sooo sooo wonderful. Now, I guess I should head off in search of some more celebrities to gawk and secretly take pictures of (mahahaha), ta ta for now!!!!
