The came. They played. They showed some skin. They conquered. Foster The People have soared up the charts to become one of the biggest bands in the world in the past two years and we had them for a whole hour, playing their biggest hits, hanging out with fans and showing us their new ink.

Drake reps Toronto through the years

Colette Carr goes primo with Nick Cannon

Colette Carr is part of a new breed of female rappers re-inventing what used to define ‘hip hop’. Outgoing, brass and sometimes a bit outrageous, Colette jumped on stage to freestyle during a Game concert and was soon signed by none other than Nick Cannon. Since then she’s become part of the Cherrytree Records family, working with fellow label mate Frankmusik and touring with LMFAO and Far East Movement.

We sat down to talk to Colette about her sound, packing for tour and just what her boss Nick Cannon’s wife Mariah Carey is really like.

Exclusive: Frankmusik talks Joe Jonas, Adele and the future of music

Frankmusik has a long career to look forward to in the music industry. Not only is he an uber-talented producer, working with everyone from Joe Jonas to Natalia Kills to Erasure, but Frankmusik’s own sophomore album Do It In The Am is also climbing the charts, thanks to his infectious single with Far East Movement.

Getting to interview an artist as talented and introspective about the music industry as Frankmusik is a thrill. Staring at the handsome Brit for 10 minutes definitely doesn’t hurt either. Exclusive! It’s love at first poster for Much.com and The Muppets Jason Segel

We should all be so lucky to love something as much as Jason Segel loves The Muppets. The actor pulled double duty on Disney’s upcoming Muppet film, co-writing the script with Nick Stoller and starring in the film alongside Amy Adams, Chris Cooper, and of course, Kermy and Miss Piggy.

From working with Brett McKenzie from Flight of the Concords, to ‘forcing’ Adams to join the film, to getting a new brother named Walter, we got the scoop from Segel on the biggest film of 2011.

With the release of their fourth album, BC band Hedley have an awful lot to talk about. Their MMVA winning track Perfect was, well, the perfect precursor to what was to come in their November 8th release Storms. Honest, emotional and not shying away from risks, the record allows Hedley to just barely make the December 31st cutoff for one of the year’s best albums.

We caught up with members Jacob Hoggard and Dave Rosin to talk about Storms, their Kenyan special Hedley And The Goat, changes in the band and what fans can expect from Friday’s Live At Much. Check out the interview after the jump!

Courage My Love give Kanye West and Paramore a run for their money

Courage My Love are a new band to our music radar and are definitely not getting out of our eye-line anytime soon. With a sound that’s easily compared to Paramore, the three piece heavy rock band has musicianship and lyrics well beyond their teen years.

We caught up with Courage My Love to week their debut EP For Now dropped and talked about their record label, performing for Gene Simmons, making a fan out of Kevin Smith and their connection to Paramore. Check out the interview under the jump!

Much.com Exclusive – Jason Derulo talks Sunday’s MTV EMAs performance

With the release of his second album, Jason Derulo has avoided the sophomore slump that often follows a hugely successful debut. His tracks It Girl and Don’t Wanna Go Home have been all over radio and TV and this Sunday Jason is performing on the red carpet special of the MTV EMAs airing at 8 pm ET on MuchMusic.

We caught up with Jason to talk about his upcoming award show performance, the making of his album Future History and how he dealt with a very specific stalker issue earlier this year. Check out the video of Jason under the jump!
