Good news, Green Day fans! Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has announced that the band has started working on the follow-up to their album “21st Century Breakdown”. Green Day’s last album came out less than a year ago, but if their track record is any indication that doesn’t mean this new album will be out soon - the band took five years between “American Idiot” and “21st Century Breakdown”. However, Armstrong does say he wants this album to be done quicker than the last, so we could be looking at a new Green Day record in 2010.

If you thought that brunette prisoner in the background of Lady Gaga’s “Telephone” video looked familiar, it’s because she is… kind of. Lady Gaga’s doppelganger is actually her sister and according to The Sun in London, she is also looking for a pop career.
Lady Gaga is apparently on board with the idea and is trying to help out her sister, 17-year-old Natali Germonotta, become a pop star like her. Gaga has already put her in contact with a New York voice coach so she can have her on tour as a back-up singer.
“She’s spending a lot of time with her and sitting in on recordings. She’s got the bug,” said The Sun’s source. “She has also taken to a playlist of GaGa’s favourite tunes and is tapping into her influences to fit in with her vocal style.”
Although Natali is still in school, there is talk she will join Gaga for several dates on the North American leg of her tour in July and August during her summer break.
