A Disney Princess gets ready for a Ball!

Sean Kingston teaches Jamaican slang and a Disney princess almost drowns a stylist – all that and more on this week’s StyL’D.

The final phase of the competition is in full force. Reminded that only one of the five candidates will get a contract with the Margaret Maldonado Agency, the contests must now pick the winning looks themselves without help from the senior stylists, and make their mark with the agency.

First up – we’ve got Brett and Cody dressing Sean Kingston for a PETA photo shoot. They work with Julie Weiss, and get sent out with her credit card to pull some popping clothes for the singer. And what does pretty boy Cody go and do……he loses Julie’s credit card. Julie does not like that. Not one bit.

My beef: as soon as he lost it, they drove to meet her, and he told her up front. She was pissed that he didn’t call her right away and tell her. It was probably a short drive, and I don’t know about you, but I would rather tell somebody something like this in person, so I think Julie was being a witch. And she easily calls and cancels her credit card AND I’m sure she has others, so jeez louise…..but anyways…

It was also Brett’s first job with Julie since he got himself fired in the first episode. And what does he go and do…..he gets redeemed in Julie’s eyes. There’s no mistake that Brett definitely has an eye for talent (but he also has a streak of really bad luck too…..).

In the end, Julie picks three of Brett’s pulls, and only one of Cody’s pulls, and Sean Kingston wears one from each. To top off the day, Kingston decides to teach these two guys some Jamaican slang. It’s worth it to watch the episode to hear Cody try and belt out “whattah gwan!” (I think he sounds like a duck!).

On to the next team….

Tara, Janna, and Gary had to dress Disney’s the Suite Life of Zack and Cody’s Brenda Song. She plays a teenager, but wants to look like the adult she is. She invites the stylists to her home, gets styled right beside her gigantic pool (I could have smelled trouble a week away…….).

The stylists work with Eric Archibald, who picks three pulls from Cody and Tara…..but nothing from Janna. Surprise! Surprise! Brenda Song is in love with one of Cody’s pulls. But vengeful Tara is determined to get out of fourth place, and makes her think Cody’s look has been done before, hoping Brenda will instead choose another one of hers.

But her plan backfires as Brenda picks another one of Cody’s pulls – a controversial pull that manages to place him first in the rankings.

But that’s not the only controversy over at Brenda’s. While tying her shoes up for her – Janna loses her balances and makes a big splash in her pool. Now, Janna has been attacked by a dog, vomited, has remained in last place throughout the season, and now almost drowns. Janna is sooooooooooooooo not going to win this thing!

To make up for knocking poor Janna into the pool, Brenda decides to take them all out for dinner instead. And what was supposed to be a wonderful fun evening of jokes and food turns out to be a mediation session between Cody and Tara. But in the end, Brenda gets the two to kiss and make up.

Onto the rankings…..

It goes as follows – Gary, Brett, Cody, Tara, and Janna. Its no surprise Janna is last again (her pulls suck) but Tara is pissed off (and I sort of agree with her one point) that Cody didn’t get as many likeable pulls and he lost Julie’s credit card….and yet he ranks higher than her.

And it’s on! Tara and Jen Rade have it out – Jen threatens to fire her, and Tara gladly accepts. This after Brett compares her to Jen’s fiery personality, and Tara exclaims “heaven forbid I’m like her!” And then Jen comes screaming down the hall – “I heard that. You wish you could have my life”.

Yikes! Can’t wait to see the final two episodes and how everything plays out!
