The dictionary defines a “maestro” as:
1. An eminent composer, teacher, or conductor of music.
2. A title of respect used in addressing or referring to such a person.
3. A master of any art: the maestros of poetry.
Maestro Fresh Wes is all of these and more. This Canadian hip hop artiste last left off with us twelve years ago with Ever Since, a strong example of Canadian hip hop music. And now we have Black Tuxedo, an EP that will have to wet our taste until Maestro unveils a full LP, Orchestrated Noise, sometime next year.
