While we’re fans of the classic exit car, strut carpet entrance, we love it when our guests take the opportunity to really make a lasting impression when they take over our red carpet. We’ve seen cheerleaders, army tanks, inflatable bubbles and even an ice cream truck, but this year we’ve got a few more that will definitely go down in the books.
The kings of MMVA red carpet entrances Mariana’s Trench continued to uphold their amazing track record by bouncing on in – literally. The boys brought their very own bouncy castle and rode on out in a high fashion, smart looking coats and even their own horses. They didn’t quite enjoy the sugar cubes but at least their manes looked good.
As if it weren’t enough that Katy Perry and J.Biebs already bring the swaggyest swag, they had to bring in the most adorable kids with them! Katy is officially taking over with her Dreamers-in-training, each of whom were dressed like Katy was in her videos from her multi platinum album Teenage Dream and absolutely killing the spotlight. For Biebs, it seems like his lil’ bro almost stole it from him – but then we remembered that anyone with Bieber attached to their name is bound to get a lot love from the audience – and then the screams came.
Don’t worry, we didn’t forget our girl Carly Rae Jepsen who arrived like a boss in her car from the Call Me Maybe video. Clearly she no longer has any issues with getting the numbers, but it’s nice to see that she’s making the boys work for hers – and getting some chores done, too!
