Check out the new Family of the Year track on First Spins

Family of the Year is an indie band from Los Angeles and their album Loma Vista is a testament to their personal triumphs within their group dynamic. Family of the Year consists of Joseph Keefe, Sebastian Keefe, Christina Schroeter, and James Buckey and are a band that will stick together much like a “Family of the Year” would and, not surprisingly if you were wondering, Joseph and Sebastian are indeed siblings.

Loma Vista was released in July 2012 and we have their single Hero for you right here. The track is light and ethereal and soulful. The album has a very Albertan-folk vibe and if you’re a fan of our man Mike Edel, then you’ll like this track.
