Chris Brown and Rihanna both took to Twitter over the American Thanksgiving weekend to encourage their fans to get over their past relationship.
The tweeting started with one of Rihanna’s fans urged her to avoid talking about the domestic assault incident. Rihanna resonded by saying, “AGREED! People won’t stop asking about it! It’s f—in’ annoying! Nobody wants to relive that, but some ppl can’t respect that!” She continued with, “I get it. They wanna raise awareness to young girls! But it ends up just making me look bitter, pitiful, spiteful and angry!”
Chris Brown also Tweeted about the topic and encouraged the two sides, Team Breezy and Rihanna Navy, to come together and put aside the dispute. “Y’all starting to sound extremely childish! #teambreezy and #rihannanavy It’s pointless. Love team breezy & thank you rihannanavy for supporting ya girl.”
The R&B world was first divided into the two camps in early 2009 after Brown assaulted Rihanna on the night before the Grammy Awards.
