After assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna the night of the 2009 Grammy Awards, there were many people who thought that Chris Brown shouldn’t have been at this year’s award show. Brown responded to the criticism on Tuesday, after winning a Grammy during Sunday night’s show: “F— off.”

The artist took to twitter to lash out at critics who didn’t think he deserved to be at this year’s award show. “HATE ALL U WANT BECUZ I GOT A GRAMMY Now! That’s the ultimate F**K OFF!” Brown tweeted. The tweet has since been deleted, but has been saved and posted on Mashable.

Brown wasn’t done there. He continued the rant, saying “Strange how we pick and choose who to hate! Let me ask u this. Our society is full of rappers (which I listen to) who have sold drugs (poisoning). But yet we glorify them and imitate everything they do. Then right before the worlds eyes a man shows how he can make a Big mistake and learn from it, but still has to deal with day to day hatred! You guys love to hate!!! But guess what???”

Clearly, the multiple anger management classes he took aren’t working.
