Now that Chris Brown has solidified his success in the music industry, why not tackle fashion? Chris Brown has signed with Wilhelmina International to be a model. Don’t worry, we’re not talking role model – just model.
The star will join the likes of Fergie and Natasha Bedingfield at Wilhelmina and both Brown and the agency are excited to launch the star into the world of modelling.
“Art and style has always played a significant role in my life,” Brown tells Women’s Wear Daily. “I’m so happy to join the Wilhelmina team, which has countless successes in the industry, to explore this new avenue.”
Taylor Hendrich, director of Wilhelmina Men, adds that he is “excited to translate and extend [Brown's] brand.”
Brown is no stranger to the fashion industry, though. The singer recently teamed up with clothing brand Pink Dolphin on a limited collection of t-shirts, hoodies, hats, accessories and other street wear. He has also started his own brand, Black Pyramid, which will feature urban street wear.
