Ciara gets sexy and sombre in her new video for Sorry, the lead single off the singer’s upcoming record One Woman Army. Seen in the midst of a breakup with her boyfriend and then acting as a ghost to his anguish, Ciara’s retelling of a relationship’s end is mixed in with a solo dance number in tradition Ciara fashion.

Ciara admitted to Essence magazine that the song is autobiographical, saying “It’s someone that I really loved. They’ll know who they are when they hear the song.” While Ciara did clarify that the song is not about ex-boyfriend Amar’e Stoudemire, she was vague on the topic of another ex, 50 Cent. As someone who watched the entire video, which include scenes of Ciara naked in a bathtub, that person should probably say ‘sorry’ really, really soon.

Ciara also told the mag that listeners can expect to hear a vulnerable side of the singer on One Woman Army, saying “What better way to express that than through music? Real music to me is real; it’s what you feel. Being vulnerable is very freeing; it’s almost like writing in a journal.”
