City and Colour named as Coldplay opener in Vancouver

It’s been a very good week for City and Colour’s Dallas Green. Still riding high from chills-inducing performance of The Grand Optimist and his Songwriter of The Year win at Sunday night’s Juno Awards, Green has kept his good luck streak going with today’s announcement that his band City and Colour will be opening for Coldplay during their Vancouver show at the Rogers Arena on April 21.
In addition to City and Colour, Coldplay will also be joined on their Vancouver tour stop by American singing sisters The Pierces. Both announcements were made on Coldplay’s official site today. Congrats to City and Colour!
