The Coachella Music Festival is expanding beyond the desert and heading to the sea! Coachella announced the S.S. Coachella today, which will take place in December, with two trips through the Carribbean and Jamaica. The line-up so far includes Pulp, Hot Chip, Girl Talk, Yeasayer, Sleigh Bells, James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem and various other bands.
Cruise ships will be able to hold 2,800 fans and will cost them anywhere from $500 to $9,000 per person. There are 10 price levels that vary in accommodation sizes, with the highest level being the “sky suite” with veranda.
Unfortunately, The Lonely Island and T.I. aren’t on the bill, but that shouldn’t stop you from singing I’m On A Boat. That needs to happen.
