Coldplay raise $420k for charity

Coldplay have raised more than $420,000 for a children’s charity.

In an eBay auction they named the End Of Decade Sale, the band sold their instruments and memorabilia to benefit Kids Company, a London-England-based charity.

Six items sold for about $17,000, while the biggest selling item proved to be Jonny Buckland’s Viva La Vida guitar, which earned more than $25,000.
