Coldplay Reschedule Toronto Show To July 30

Coldplay have rescheduled their upcoming Toronto shows in support of their new album Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends - the original dates on October 29 & 30 will now take place on July 30 - so Coldplay fans will get to hear the new album performed THREE MONTHS earlier than anticipated! Very exciting.

Tickets go on sale Saturday, June 14 @ 10am ET at the usual outlets (Ticketmaster.ca, Livenation.com or by phone 416-870-800) and cost $49.50, $77.50 & $97.50 + fees.

Viva La Vida will be released next week on June 17, but you can listen to the entire thing in advance right here! Go! Go!

Three months earlier! Sweet!

MySpace has been plugging Toronto’s The Darcy’s alongside Coldplay, Radiohead and some other great acts. The Darcy’s are headlining the MySpace Showcase at Sneaky Dee’s on College this Thursday as part of the 2008 North by Northeast Music festival. Maybe they’ll catch an opening slot!
