Coldplay’s new album about “OCD and addiction”

Slowly but surely, news about Coldplay’s next album is trickling out.
In a new interview with BBC Radio 1′s Zane Lowe, singer Chris Martin divulged a little something, saying that the untitled record will be about “love, addiction, OCD, escape and working for someone you don’t like.”
Okay… Despite that description, Martin assured fans that the album “also has a lot of uplifting stuff. It’s supposed to be about life, the good stuff and the bad stuff. Everything.”
However, despite previously telling the BBC that it was a “concept album” about “two like-minded outsiders who meet in a very difficult environment and therefore have a journey together,” he’s now denying that it is actually a concept album. Which is probably a good thing.
