Crash Parallel just released their latest video for Casualties Of War currently in rotation on MuchMoreMusic. The song tells the story of the struggles with mental illness and it rings of hope. The band has teamed up with the Canadian Mental Health Association and offered a full band version of the song as a free download on their web site. Those who want to help can make donations right from www.crashparallel.com, just look for the CMHA logo. You can also check out also their other videos World We Know and Rain Delays.
Pictures and concert info after the jump.
They are working on their highly anticipated follow up to their debut album World We Know which is expected in early fall. Stay in touch with them online at www.crashparallel.com and follow the band through their experience recording the new record.
Crash Parallel recently won Best New Artist at the 2008 Canadian Music Radio Awards during Canadian Music Week to top off a successful year for them. Look for them this summer as they anticipate touring and playing festivals across the country.
Here are some pictures of Crash Parallel playing at CMW a couple of weeks ago. If you missed it you can see them live for FREE this Saturday at Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto where they will be playing as part of Earth Hour at 7pm.
