Toronto’s own Alice Glass, the frontwoman of electro-punk-rock duo Crystal Castles, has topped the NME Cool List 2008!

When asked how she felt about being “the coolest person on planet Earth in 2008,” Glass responded, “I’m flattered, but back in school the people who held themselves in the same regard were the biggest waste of skin I’ve ever met”.

(That’s so true, eh? The cool kids in school usually grow up to be the lamest and most predictable - aka boring.)
