Cumberbatch featured in new Star Trek Into Darkness Trailer & Poster

A thrilling new trailer for Star Trek Into Darkness was released by Paramount today. Unlike the previoustrailer, this one focuses on Benedict Cumberbatch’s character as the film’s villain. Without revealing his identity or motives, the trailer still gives us a haunting portrait of a man who kills innocent people without any remorse. Since there is so little revealed about his character, it only makes us more intrigued to uncover the mystery.

A new poster for the film was also released. Like the trailer, it places Benedict Cumberbatch’s mysterious character as the main focus of attention. Star Trek Into Darkness is directed by J.J. Abrams and stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Carl Urban, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin, John Cho and Bruce Greenwood. It soars into theaters on May 17.

I don’t know about you guys, but I’m even more excited after seeing that new trailer. Do you feel the same?
