Daft Punk – Sunday!!!

Please take a moment to share in my excitement for the impending final checkmark to be ticked on my long list of Bands To See Before I Die: Daft Punk this Sunday @ Arrow Hall. The night before they’re playing Lollapalooza in Chicago. And I’ve been reading reviews of all the shows in the U.S. so far, and they’ve all described it as being a life altering event. Not without costumes. Halloween-esque costumes. What am I gonna wear?!

I am literally (OK, not) beside myself in anticipation about this concert. Daft Punk haven’t toured North America in about a decade and to my knowledge they’ve never played in Toronto. I MIGHT BURST INTO FLAMES AT THIS SHOW! I seriously anticipate it to be one of the most fun evenings of my life. I’ve been listening to nothing but Homework, Discovery, Alive 1997 & Human After All for the past few days to get amped for the show.

I will return on Tuesday with a full report on the show. Provided I don’t die at the hand of a full blown dance aneurysm.
