Damian interviews Palma Violets on The Wedge tonight!

One of the best, young new bands out of the UK right now is London’s Palma Violets. They’ve done all the magazine covers, signed to Rough Trade and released a debut album that Mojo says “is filled with such a sense of unyielding joie de vivre and spirit that you can’t help but be seduced by its unfettered feel.” Not bad, not bad.

Well, Damian had a chance to put them to the test with his expert interviewing and grilled them about the comparisons and their label’s storied history of introducing legendary indie bands like The Smiths and The Strokes. Y’know, them.

Also on the show, Damian looks at more new bands and even bets a bit nostalgic about his own days as an up-and-comer in that band of his.
