Darkstar “Timeaway” (MP3)

Before James Blake became the post-dubstep poster boy, London trio Darkstar were guiding the way with their subtle fusion of bass music, pop and R&B. Releasing their debut LP, North, on Hyperdub in 2010 got their critical acclaim, and now James Buttery, James Young and Aiden Whalley will return with brand new single “Timeaway” via new label Warp on November 13th. About the single, Darkstar say, “‘Timeaway’ feels like a good starting point to releasing music again, it’s very much us looking forward. It’s off-kilter, processed and bubbles and moves right through.”
