Broody sound sculptor/troubadour Daughn Gibson quietly squeaked out an impressive debut album earlier this year in All Hell. Today Sub Pop announced they’ve signed the singer-songwriter and will release his next album some time in the new year. To celebrate, however, Gibson has released a brand new track called “Reach Into the Fire,” which samples not one but two of his labelmates: “An echo from the hosts that profess infinitum” by Shabazz Palaces and “Life on Earth” and “Slow Motion” by Tiny Vipers.
