We’re only two weeks away from hearing this new David Bowie album, The Next Day, and so far it appears that his excellence has prepared quite the calculated promo roll-out. Today he dropped a new video directed by Canada’s own Floria Sigismondi that sees the ageless icon revealing more of that “rock” side producer Tony Visconti said dominates the album. “The Stars (Are Out Tonight)” stars Bowie and Oscar-winning actress Tilda Swinton as an aging couple haunted by ghosts of their past selves, I assume. And yes, in case you’re wondering, Tilda goes after Bowie with an electric poultry carver. Freaky stuff.
