Dead Sara performing on Friday’s episode of The Vampire Diaries

Tomorrow’s brand new episode of The Vampire Diaries is upping the cool factor. Described by Dave Grohl as the next biggest band in rock and roll, Los Angeles’ Dead Sara are set to hit the stage to perform two songs during Friday’s episode, titled Because The Night.
Taking place in New York City both in present time and in a series of flashback scenes to the 1970s, Dead Sara will be performing their original track, Lemon Scent, as well as a cover of Patti Smith’s Ask The Angels on Friday’s episode.
The hard rock band have been getting lots of love in Hollywood from the likes of Grohl and the creators of The Vampire Diaries. Pretty Little Liars actor Tyler Blackburn is an avid fan of the group, tweeting and Instagraming his love for the band, who released their debut album in 2012.
