Dear Pittsburgh Slim…

Dear Pittsburgh Slim,

I like it when videos don’t rely on sex to sell their music.
I like it when directors push creative boundaries.
I like it when women aren’t overly sexualized.
I like it when teenage girls can watch a video without feeling insecure.

So when you decided to shoot this video and proclaim to the world that you like it when girls kiss girls, did you ever stop to think what a 23 year old woman may like or even a 14 year old girl?

I didn’t think so.

Don’t consider me a fan,
Jen

P.S. How does everyone else feel?

  3. i get that this video is just as bad as any other video played on BET after midnight but everything about this guy and video screams ‘try-hard.’

  4. I can’t believe someone thought that was a good idea.

I get that sex sells, and I get that it’s not even worth the breath it takes to ask that stuff like this not be out there for kids and adults alike to be exposed to, but I still think this is junk.

  5. awful song but i can see how it will become popular unfortch.

  6. ” did you ever stop to think what a 23 year old woman may like or even a 14 year old girl?”

I’m pretty sure that is the first thing on every guys mind.

  7. Who is this douche? He seems like a typical snot-nosed loser that laughs at fart jokes and people tripping. I’ll bet he never sees two girls kiss in an unscripted setting.

  8. agreed with Kat.

  9. why would you make a music video about watching porn? this guy is a total douche. his reaction shots are pretty funny though.

  11. You guys must not get out much to see what goes on in clubs and hear the music they play. This beat his hot and when I was in a club and they played this everyone continued to have a great time dancing to it. At last a rap song that doesnt talk about dealing drugs and killing people. Dont take entertainment to seriously, try to just smile and enjoy.

  12. You people are stupid. If you let the television raise your kids you are neglectful. If you wanna judge an artist off of one song, you’re biased. If any woman is insecure about the subject matter, perhaps you have some secret fantasies tucked away in your little conservative mind.

  13. This song would be ok if it wasn’t sexist. I mean, c’mon, it’s the 21st century people! Women have rights and are equal to men! This isn’t respectful to women or lesbians. ‘I like when girls kiss girls’ is incredibly disrespectful to girls and makes them sound like objects that are hot. i don’t care if a song is about sex or whatever the hell it may be, as long as it doesn’t make girls and women feel insecure like Jen said. If you want to argue with me, go ahead, but let me tell you that you are either sexist guy or an incredibly good arguer. Think about that.

i love it, because of how hot the video is, and how good the song is. sex sells, and if you dont like it, grow up. go bitch to someone who cares.
