Death Waltz Halloween Mix (Stream)

The Death Waltz Recording Company is a relatively new label founded by Spencer Hickman, the man behind Rough Trade’s flagship store in East London. Specializing in giving new life to hard-to-find horror soundtracks, in the past few months alone he’s reissued John Carpenter classics like the second and third installments of Halloween, Prince of Darkness and Escape From New York, to modern favourites like Donnie Darko and Let The Right One In.
As part of Dazed Digital’s Halloween Mixtape Trilogy, Hickman curated a special mix “dedicated to the dark art of VHS Video Nasties…” featuring snippets from The Omen and Escape From New York with gems like the themes from Halloween and Suspiria.
