Degrassi Ep. 25: Love, lies and politics

Ms. Oh and Sav get caught, Katie and Marisol’s war escalates and Eli tries to mend fences with Jake. Find out what happened on the last episode of Degrassi after the jump!

Ms. Oh overheard some girls talking about Katie being bulimic and confronts Katie about the rumours. Katie swears they’re just that – rumours – but Ms. Oh sets up a meeting with Katie and the guidance counselor just in case.

Katie confronts Marisol and tells her that her bulimia is under control and that Marisol needs to tell everyone Katie doesn’t have an eating disorder. Marisol refuses and Katie tells her that she’s glad she picked Drew instead of her ex-bestie. Marisol threatens to make things even messier and tells Katie that there’s no way Drew will stand by her. I hope she’s wrong.

Katie is on the radio with Dave and Adam talking about the election and the guys tell Katie she can clear up the eating disorder rumour Marisol is spreading by taking a lie detector test.

The test shows that Katie is lying about having an eating disorder.

Katie is upset that everyone is talking about the radio show fiasco. Drew asks Katie again if she has an eating disorder and she continues to lie to him.

Upset, Katie eats a bag of cheesies and then runs into the bathroom to cry and possibly be sick.

Marisol finds her in the bathroom and tries to apologize, but Katie tells Marisol that she hates her and wishes they were never friends.

Katie tells Drew that she wants to quit the election and admits that the rumours about her eating disorder are true. Drew tells her that he doesn’t care about her eating disorder, but he does care that Katie is going to let Marisol win after all the crap she pulled.

Katie decides to stay in the election and attend the debate.

At about the third question she gets a heckler about her eating disorder and Marisol steps up and tells the school that she made the rumour up and is withdrawing from the election.

Katie wins the election and has Drew and Marisol by her side when she gets the news.

Katie chooses Marisol as her vice president and everyone is excited…except for Drew.

He looks really, really mad.

Katie asks Drew to keep the PDA to a minimum until Marisol gets used to them together. Drew tells Katie that Marisol isn’t his friend and that when she’s around, Drew won’t be.

Eli and Jake are working on the sweat lodge for their project. Eli tells Jake that he can help Jake with his issues with Clare. Jake tells Eli that he doesn’t advice from him. So, new plan?

Eli complains to Fiona that Jake won’t take his advice. Fiona makes a joke that Eli should trap Clare and Jake in a room and force them to work things out and of course Eli takes her seriously.

Fiona helps trick Clare into going into the sweat lodge with Jake and Eli.

Things are getting sweaty and mad in the lodge and Eli tells Jake he’s not crazy, he’s bipolar.

Eli manages to fix things with Jake and Clare and the two tell each other they love one another. I know Eli wanted to help them, but this still has to be painful to watch.

Jake thanks Eli for helping him with Clare. Are they going to be friends?

Eli talks to Fiona about her apologies and says that he still needs to make things up with Imogen. Imogen agrees to have coffee with Eli at The Dot. I hope he has more than coffee planned because he was hella mean to Imogen.

Mo and Sav are hanging out and Sav kinda tells Mo that he and Ms. Oh were kissing. Oh no. Ms. Oh is trying to get the class to be quiet and Sav takes it upon himself to scream at everyone for her. Oh no no.

Sav apologizes to Ms. Oh for yelling at the class and Ms. Oh tells him that they can’t be together and should have never kissed.

Sav is called into Principal Simpson’s office and Ms. Oh shows up behind him. Rumours have been circulating about the two being romantic with one another and Ms. Oh says that she’s been helping Sav with his music.

Sav says that he started the rumours and Simpson tells Sav that he has detention every day until graduation. That was very, very cool of him.

Mo and Sav are playing the music room and Ms. Oh walks in to talk to Sav. Ms. Oh gives him a mix CD with her number, telling him to call her after graduation.

Will Sav call Ms. Oh after graduation? Will Katie be able to have her best friend and her boyfriend? Will Eli be able to make amends with Imogen? Find out on the final week of Degrassi!
