Degrassi Ep. 33: Underneath It All Part 2

February 24th, 2012

Fiona finds out who her real friends are, Jake and Clare find out they’re not on the same page and Maya gets into a fight the first week at Degrassi. Find out what happened on tonight’s episode after the jump!

Principal Simpson is hella mad that the school was vandalized and suspended Imogen after she was found by the cleaning staff.

Marisol, Fiona and Katie are worried that Imogen will tell Simpson it was them, so the three agree to do whatever they can to keep her quiet.

Katie and Marisol convince Fiona to go to Imogen’s house and attempt to convince her to not tell on them.

Imogen tells Fiona that she was listening to her iPod in the theatre and someone locked her in there. Imogen thinks it was Marisol and Fiona says that they’ll deny whatever story Imgoen tells Simpson. Imogen tells Fiona she was different last year and I agree.

Katie is relieved that Fiona talked Imogen out of telling on them since she could lose her presidency over using her key to get into the school and pull off the prank. Fiona tells the girls that Imogen thinks someone locked her in the theatre and Katie immediately points the finger at Marisol.

Marisol tells the girls she did it for Fiona because Imogen called her an alcoholic. Fiona admits that she is an alcoholic and that Imogen was trying to protect her at the party when Owen dared her to drink.

Imogen is suspended for a month and on probation indefinitely. She tried to tell Simpson the truth, but he didn’t believe her. A month! Poor Imogen! Even her hair buns look sad.

Fiona talks to Marisol and Katie and thinks they should confess. Marisol agrees that they should talk to Simpson and I fully DO NOT TRUST HER! Fiona, Katie and Marisol are in Simpson’s office to talk about the prank. Fiona tells Simpson that Imogen didn’t act alone and before she can continue, Katie and Marisol swoop in with a story, saying they were at Marisol’s house last night and convinced Fiona to confess. They also assure Simpson that 20 other people, including Marisol’s parents, can confirm they weren’t in the school. Get ready for karma, ladies. You’re due for some baaaad stuff.

Fiona finds Katie and yells at her for selling Fiona out. Honestly, I would expect this from Marisol, but not Katie. Fiona is suspended and on probation along with Imogen and Katie doesn’t seem to care one bit.

Fiona has to clean up the cafeteria along with Fiona. Realizing how poor her decisions were, Fiona tries apologizing to Imogen.

Thankfully, Imogen is much nicer than Katie and Marisol and forgives Fiona. The girls agree to start their friendship over. They also agree to get back at Katie and Marisol. Game on!

Zig walks Maya to class and they notice evil glares from Tristan and Tori across the music room.

Tori asks Maya what she’s doing with Zig and Maya tells her new audience that Zig explained everything. Tori is upset because she went on a few dates with Zig and nothing happened. Going into full mean girl mode, Tori tells Maya that Zig is only using Maya to make her jealous. Harsh.

Maya, not backing down, says that she knows Tori posted 100 messages on his Face Range page. Enraged, Tori does one of the grossest things imaginable and empties the spit valve on her trombone into Maya’s face. EW!

And fight!

Tori tries lying to Simpson about why the fight started, but he’s not buying her sob story.

He leaves the girls alone for five minutes to work out their problem and Tori actually starts sobbing. She wants closure with Zig and asks Maya to talk to Zig for her. Gurl, pull yourself together.

Maya talks to Zig about Tori and he explains that he broke up with Tori to keep his options open for high school. Well, Zig’s kinda a jerk. Zig decides that he should talk to Tori.

After Maya convinces Zig to talk to Tori the two decided to get back together.

Maya pretends to not be hurt, but I think she’s definitely regretting her decision to help Tori get closure.

Jake apologizes to Clare for being a jerk during their sex talk. Clare admits that it was immature to use a quiz and admits that she doesn’t feel ready. But their parents (don’t forget they’re related now, weird) are out tonight and Clare doesn’t want to wait until they’re married. Wait, so she wants to marry Jake? Judging by Jakes face he caught that as well.

In one of the most embarrassing things that could happen, Jake gets caught reading Sizzle Teen in class, trying to figure out whether he and Clare should have sex.

Jake talks to Clare about not being ready for marriage and Clare says that as long as Jake is committed right now, she’s ready to sleep with him. Then she pulls out lingerie in the hallway at school. Um, that’s definitely not a Degrassi uniform.

Jake and Clair are in her bedroom getting ready to have sex. Clare again drops the F word (forever) and this time Jake can’t ignore it.

Jake bails and runs out of the room, crushing Clare and his chances of getting back into her bed.

The next morning, Jake tells Clare that he bailed because he doesn’t think there’s any chance of them being together forever. Harsh, but fair.

Clare doesn’t want to wait around for the other break-up shoe to drop, so she ends things with Jake. Man, we only got two Cake episodes back into their relationship and they’re dunzo? EClare for life, y’all.
