Maya is going forward with auditioning for the indie band whose ad she read and asks Tori for advice on what to wear to her audition. Tori forgives Maya for quitting the grade nine band and helps her pick out a foxy shirt.

Maya tries to sneak out of her house that night to head to her audition, but her dad catches her before she can make her move. Maya explains that she doesn’t feel challenged and is scared that she’s losing her musical talent. He’s supportive, but still won’t let his 13 year old audition for a band at a bar. Fair enough.

Holly J walks Fiona to Degrassi for one of her last days before she moves back to New York and finally meets Fiona’s new friend Imogen.

Holly J leaves the girls so that Fiona can tell Imogen about the carnival being cancelled, but Imogen’s excitement over the Frostival stops Fiona from telling Imogen about her mother and money situation. Exactly how is Fiona going to make this happen?

Fiona tries to meet with Mr. Simpson, but she’s intercepted by Marisol, who quickly points out that Fiona has messages waiting for her on the student council answering machine, demanding payment from the various carnival rental facilities.

When Fiona finally talks to Simpson, he is in full on freak out mode after realizing that Fiona overbooked the carnival. Fiona wants to open the event up to the public, but Simpson is scared that there will be another disaster at a Degrassi event. Man, a couple people get shot and almost stabbed and all of a sudden the principal cancels activities. Yeesh.

Holly J is helping Fiona pack and Fiona wants to take off and leave Degrassi before the carnival.Imogen shows up and Fiona snaps at her and finally tells Imogen the truth about moving back to New York. Poor Imogen. I feel like she’s been yelled at quite a bit this season.
Realizing that Imogen was right about staying positive, Fiona decides that she’s going to sell all her clothes and jewelry to make the money needed for the Frostival.

Clare’s newly assembled newspaper team is hard at work on the holiday issues. Eli’s article on the Grundy awards is great and Jenna points out that the two are quite friendly together. Eli asks Clare to eat lunch with him, but she tells him it’s not a good idea. Lunch is always a good idea. When Eli leaves the room, Clare tells the group that she is worried about upsetting the balance Eli has achieved with his bipolar disorder.

Clare decides to take a chance on the balance and finds Eli eating lunch on his own. Eli doesn’t think things have to be awkward between them since their feelings are in the past. That being said, Eli asks Clare if they can pick up where they left off, well, pre-driving his hearse into a wall.

Clare panics and spills her soup all over Eli. It’s nice to know she’s as smooth as the rest of us.

Fiona’s sale is a success and she shows up at the Frostival with the cash for Marisol. Fiona tells Marisol that she’s moving away and Marisol is actually kinda, sorta upset. I knew Marisol was nicer than she wants people to know.

Imogen finds Fiona at the Frostival and Fiona tells her about the sale. They make up and decide to hit the rides together.

On the carousel, Fiona has a moment of courage and kisses Imogen. And Imogen kisses her back!!! Yay Fiona! Yay Imogen! Yay Fimogen!

Unfortunately, their happy moment is ruined by Imogen remembering that Fiona is leaving, but Fiona has a change of heart and wants to figure out a way to stay at Degrassi.

Fiona tells Holly J her good news and decides that she wants to stay in her home at Degrassi. Fiona is going to get a job and a roommate and figure things out on her own so that she can stay with Imogen!!!

Maya finds Ms. Oh at the Frostival and decides to challenge herself with a new instrument, asking to rejoin the grade nine band.

Tori and Tristan are happy to see her back in the band and Maya tells them that she’d rather play with them instead of an indie band.

They’re terrible, but at least they’re terrible together.

Clare and the group finish the newspaper’s holiday issue on time and she treats them to a pizza party. Nom nom nom. All is good in grade eleven again.

Eli helps Clare make all the copies of the newspaper and the two finish up in time to check out the Frostival together.

Clare admits that she wasn’t worried about Eli’s bipolar being set off, but about her feelings.

Bullfrog shows up at the WORST time to pick up Eli, but before he leaves for the holidays, Clare makes the boldest move I’ve ever seen from Ms. Edwards and kisses Eli. ECLARE FOR LIFE!
